Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI), recently introduced their newest subcompact sedan, the new Nissan Almera. The refreshed Almera has an upgraded design and features, making it a vehicle for all new beginnings.
It brings an updated look from the previous version with elegant lines and premium finishes on the exterior, a redesigned front bumper with boomerang-inspired headlamps, a bigger and bolder front grille, and front chromed accents. The remodeled rear bumper is complemented with black diffuser cladding, chromed trunk garnish, there’s a large lip spoiler and newly-designed 12-spoke alloy wheels.
Other amenities that elevate the comfortable driving and riding experience are cup and bottle holders in the center console and door sidings, a rear cabin comfort fan that provides dual ventilation, iPod connectivity, push-button start and re-mote keyless system.
Safety features are Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, Brake Assist and Dual Front Airbags also provide added peace of mind.
The new Nissan Almera lengthened intervals between periodic maintenance service (PMS) due to upgraded, high quality parts and technology. In addition, the cost of spare parts for the new Nissan Almera are also lower than before keeping maintenance costs 30 percent lower than other cars–the lowest in its class.
There are two different powertrains offered to suit your needs. The 1.5L VL engine features 4-speed automatic transmission with an inline 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine with 99ps at 6,000 and 134NM torque at 4,000rpm, the 1.5L VL model is also equipped with premium touches such as high-quality leather seats, a side turning lamp on the door, and a leather wrapped steering wheel.
The entry level variant has a 5-speed manual transmission, is powered by a 3 cylinder 1.2L DOHC engine that puts out 79ps at 6,000rpm and 106NM of torque at 4,400rpm.
The new Nissan Almera is available in five different variants:
1.2L M/T at PHP630,000,
1.5L E M/T at PHP726,000
1.5L E A/T at PHP762,000
1.5L V A/T at PHP845,000
and the range-topping 1.5 VL automatic model is at PHP880,000.
Available in four different colors Brilliant Silver, Alpine White, Bluish Black, and Titanium Grey.
