Toyota Motor Philipines, (TMP) recently unveiled the new Rav4. The new line-up for this specific model are the 4×2 Active, the 4×2 Active+, the 4×2 Premium and the 4×4 Premium. The new RAV4 is visually more powerful than before as seen in its new front bumper design across all grades. It’s equipped with a brand new set of 17” aluminium wheels and tires with low rolling resistance that contribute to better fuel efficiency. Both the 4×2 Premium and 4×4 Premium on the other hand now have Daytime Running-Lights, LED headlamps and headlamp leveling.
Under the hood is the same 2.5-liter, Dual VVT-i (Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The New Rav4 now holds additional safety features such as knee airbags aside from its standard front, side and curtain airbags, selected variants come with advanced safety features such as VSC (vehicle stability control), HAC (Hill-Climb Assist Control) and DAC (Downhill Assist Control.)
It comes in these new colors: Blue Metallic, Orange Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic and Bronze Metallic and the standard: Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, Black Mica and a White Pearl color option for an additional P15, 000.
