Volkswagen Philippines is set to expand its dealer network and will soon establish dealerships in Central Luzon and Western Visayas, recognizing these areas’ economic resurgence and addressing the clamor to bring world-class German automotive craftsmanship closer to the people residing in these locations.
In Central Luzon, a new Volkswagen dealership will soon rise along McArthur Highway in Dolores, San Fernando City, Pampanga. In Western Visayas, two dealerships will be established: At the upper ground level of SM Iloilo along Benigno Aquino Sr. Avenue in Iloilo City, and, along Araneta Street, Singcang, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
These will add to the existing five Volkswagen dealer network located at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City; Quezon Avenue in Quezon City; Sheridan Street in Mandaluyong City; Molito Lifestyle Building in Alabang, Muntinlupa City; and, at the North Reclamation Area in Cebu City.
The new locations for Volkswagen will be built and operated by Volkswagen Philippines’ new partners, namely: The Laus Group of Companies for Volkswagen Pampanga; Grand Canyon Multi Holdings Inc. for Volkswagen Iloilo, and; Ponce Automobile Corporation for Volkswagen Bacolod.
Volkswagen Philippines is counting on its new partners’ vast experience and automotive market expertise in the areas where they operate. The Laus Group of Companies, under the leadership of its Chairman Levy P. Laus since 1978 has built an extensive automotive network in Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon.
For its part, Grand Canyon Multi Holdings Inc., led by its Chairman Peter Po and President Jan Andrew Po, relies on its 20-year experience in the auto industry not only in its area of origin in Iloilo, but all across the Philippines.
