Nissan introduced the new frame-based Nissan Terra in the Philippines last May 28, bringing us the new Nissan Terra. The first SUV in the mid-size segment for Nissan in the Philippines, it underlines the company’s commitment to growing the country’s already strong business.
An ingenious combination, the Nissan Terra offers robust exterior design, spacious interiors, and advanced driving technology giving customers the confidence to take on any journey. The vehicle itself is a descendant of the Patrol, Nissan’s tough off-road icon, which has also taken explorers on adventures into unchartered territories, including deserts, plains, and mountainous regions since its beginnings in 1951.
“Over 60 years of SUV heritage went into the development of the Nissan Terra,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, President and Managing Director of Nissan Philippines. “The new Nissan Terra is designed to give you the confidence to take your family on exceptional urban and outdoor adventures by providing a no-compromise package.”
The Terra’s reinforced chassis, five-link coil spring rear suspension system, and rigid rear-wheel axle work together to ensure strength, durability, comfort, and convenience. With the 4WD-DIFF lock system, coupled with Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist, you even have more control over the wheels during 4×4 situations.
Intelligent Mobility technologies that are designed to bring safety and convenience to both driver and passengers are also added, such as Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. The vehicle is also as intelligent as it is tough, with innovations like Smart Rear View Mirror that allow drivers to see images from a camera mounted at the back.
The roomy interior can accommodate up to seven people comfortably— this time offering more convenience when getting in and out of the vehicle, using its first in class second row one-touch remote fold and tumble seats. With premium leather seats, advanced air conditioning system, ambient lights, and overhead entertainment, the new Nissan Terra allows your passengers to relax stylishly with ease.
The new Nissan’s Terra’s V-motion grille gives a streamlined look from the front, while the “boomerang” LED headlamps accentuate its sharp and commanding appearance. The sleek roofline flows from the front fender to the rear, where the tail lights add to its dynamic look. Completing the exterior are 18-inch alloy wheels, designed to create exciting driving experiences both on and off the road.
Beginning June 1, 2018, you may already reserve their vehicles at any Nissan dealership nationwide. The new Nissan Terra will be available in the market by August 20, 2018, beginning at PHP 1.499 million.
